Blueprint for Success: Building an Efficient Proposal Process

Eric Larson, CPSM

Associate | Marketing and Business Development Manager, CRS Engineering & Surveying

Effective communication is one of, if not the biggest challenge for almost every business. But just because people have different personality types doesn’t, they can't thrive working together. Many people question the validity of personality profiles and are hesitant to participate, but when properly used, identifying personality types can be a valuable tool for businesses.

During this session, we will examine how different personality types react to different communication styles and discuss some misconceptions about personality profile tests. From there, we will look at how leaders can better understand their team members and help them improve and grow. We will specifically look at how leadership can work with rising stars in their firms to help transition from doers to sellers as well.

While the discussion will be based on the Myers & Briggs 16 personality types and The Six Types of Working Geniuses personality profiles, it will show how to use a wide range of personality tests to help identify team member's strengths and weaknesses. Doing so will help them learn how to communicate to get the best responses.
