My perfect day in DC starts with brunch in Dupont Circle, followed by a romp through the farmers market and a visit to some of my favorite art museums—The Phillips Collection, The Renwick, and The Hirshhorn.

A perfect day in DC would start with a stroll through the cherry blossoms at peak season, enjoying the sun on my back. I'd top it off with a great fresh crabmeat lunch.

I haven't visited DC in 20+ years, so I would balance sightseeing and great food, exploring the National Mall and Memorial Parks, then DC’s modern food scene.
